Connect Make to RobinReach

To connect Make to RobinReach, add the HTTP app's Make a request module to your scenario. Set the URL to https://robinreach.com/api/v1/posts, the method to POST, an Authorization header of Bearer and your API key, and a JSON body with the post's content, time and profiles. When the scenario runs, the post lands on your RobinReach calendar and goes out on schedule, on any of 13 networks. The RobinReach API is included on the Bloom, Thrive and Scale plans.

Step by step

Set up Make in 5 minutes

  1. Add an HTTP module to your scenario

    Choose HTTP, then Make a request, and set the method to POST.

    URL
    https://robinreach.com/api/v1/posts
  2. Add the headers

    Add two headers, with your key from the Integrations page in RobinReach in place of YOUR_API_KEY.

    Headers
    Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY
    Content-Type: application/json
  3. Set the body

    Body content type application/JSON, body input method JSON string, with this content. Map values from earlier modules into it.

    Body content
    {
      "content": "Fresh stock just landed. Come see what's new!",
      "publish_time": "2026-12-01 10:00",
      "status": "scheduled",
      "all_profiles": true
    }
  4. Run the scenario

    Click Run once. The post shows up in your RobinReach calendar right away.

Check it works. Run the scenario once and look for the post on your RobinReach calendar.

Ideas to automate

Each idea is one Zap or scenario: a trigger in another app, then one request to RobinReach.

When a deal is won in your CRM, post a thank you to the client on LinkedIn.

When a new episode is published in your podcast feed, share it on X, Threads and Bluesky.

When stock arrives in Airtable, schedule an Instagram and Facebook post for the next morning.

When a new row is added to a Google Sheet, save it as a draft for review.

Troubleshooting

If something does not work

The module returns 401

The key is missing or out of date. Check the Authorization header reads Bearer, a space, then your current key.

The module returns 422

RobinReach checked the post and found a problem, like text too long for X. The response says what to fix; send the same body to https://robinreach.com/api/v1/posts/validate to check without creating anything.

The JSON breaks when I map text into it

Quotes and line breaks in mapped text can break a JSON string. Use the Data structure input method, or Make's JSON tools, to build the body.

Questions

Make and RobinReach: questions people ask

Is there a RobinReach app in Make?

Not yet. The HTTP module reaches the same API any app would, with every field the API accepts.

Can a scenario attach images?

Yes. Add media_urls with public links to the images or video, and RobinReach attaches them to the post.

Can I pick which profiles it posts to?

Yes. Replace all_profiles with social_profile_ids and the ids from GET https://robinreach.com/api/v1/social_profiles.

Can I save drafts instead of scheduling?

Yes. Set status to draft and the post waits on your calendar until someone schedules it.

Which RobinReach plans include the API?

The Bloom, Thrive and Scale plans.
