Schedule Bluesky Posts Without Living in the App

Bluesky has no scheduler of its own. Connect your handle to RobinReach and queue posts, images, video and reply chains days ahead, next to everything else you publish.

RobinReach connects with an app password from your Bluesky settings, so your account password is never stored, and you can revoke access from Bluesky at any time.

Why RobinReach

Bluesky gives you a timeline. It does not give you a queue.

There is no scheduling in the Bluesky app, so every post goes out at the moment you write it, whatever hour that happens to be.

Bluesky on its own

Post now, or not at all

Every post publishes the second you press send, with no way to set it for later.
Reply chains are typed live, one at a time, with the first post already public.
Numbers stop at whatever your own profile page happens to show you.
It is a separate app and a separate habit from the rest of your social media.
With RobinReach

Bluesky on a schedule

Queue posts days or weeks ahead and see the whole week in one calendar.
Write the post and its replies together, then let RobinReach send them in order.
Follower and post counts land in your normal reports, over 7, 30 or 90 days.
The same composer publishes to your other twelve networks.
How It Works

Connect once, publish on schedule

Three steps between a draft in RobinReach and a live post on your timeline.

  1. 1

    Create an app password

In Bluesky, open Settings, then App Passwords, and generate one for RobinReach. Your real password is never shared, and you can revoke it whenever you like.

  2. 2

Write the post and its replies

Type the post, add any replies below it, and attach images or an MP4. The counter tracks all 300 characters as you write.

  3. 3

Pick a time and move on

Choose a slot on the calendar. RobinReach publishes the post at that time and adds each reply under it in order.

Features

Everything Bluesky can carry, ready before it posts

Text, images, video and reply chains, planned in the same place as the rest of your content.

300 characters, counted as you type

Every post in the chain is counted separately, so a long thought splits cleanly instead of being cut off on publish.

300characters

Reply chains, written in advance

Draft the post and every reply together, read the whole argument back, then let RobinReach send them in order at the time you chose.

1 2 3 and the rest of the chain

Images on any post

Attach JPG, PNG or GIF files. One animated GIF per post, which is Bluesky's own rule, and RobinReach checks it before queueing.

MP4 video up to four minutes

Bluesky accepts MP4 video within its blob size limit. RobinReach checks the file first so a post does not fail at publish time.

MP4 only Up to 4 minutes Checked before queueing

The same post, everywhere else

Bluesky, Mastodon, Threads and X can share one draft, each trimmed to its own character limit.

+7

Followers and posts in your reports

Your Bluesky numbers sit on the same report card as every other connected network, over 7, 30 or 90 days.

Beyond publishing

Bluesky is one timeline. You are running thirteen.

The same draft can carry across every other network you publish to.

Threaded posts everywhere

Bluesky, X, Threads, Facebook and LinkedIn all take a queued reply chain, written the same way in the same composer.

FAQ

Bluesky scheduling questions, answered

Does Bluesky have a built in scheduler?

No. The Bluesky app publishes the moment you press send, with no way to set a post for later. That is the gap RobinReach fills: you write now and RobinReach publishes at the time you choose.

How do I connect my Bluesky account?

With an app password. In Bluesky, open Settings, then App Passwords, generate one for RobinReach and paste it in. Your real account password is never stored, and revoking the app password in Bluesky cuts access immediately.

Can I schedule a whole reply chain?

Yes. Write the main post and every reply in the same composer. RobinReach publishes the first post at the scheduled time, then adds each reply under it in the order you wrote them.

What images can I attach?

JPG, PNG and GIF. Bluesky allows only one animated GIF per post, and RobinReach checks that before the post is queued rather than letting it fail at publish time.

Can I post video to Bluesky?

Yes, MP4 video up to four minutes, within Bluesky's own blob size limit of roughly 95 MB. RobinReach validates the file when you attach it, so you find out immediately rather than at publish time.

What Bluesky analytics does RobinReach show?

Followers, posts published and accounts you follow, on the same report card as every other connected network, over 7, 30 or 90 days. Analytics are available on Bloom and above.

Can I publish to Bluesky and X at the same time?

Yes. Select both on the same draft. Each network keeps its own preview and its own limit, so the 300 character Bluesky version and the 280 character X version can differ without you writing the post twice.
