How do I add text to a picture?
Add your image, then type your text in the box. It shows on the image as you type, and you can drag it anywhere, resize it and change the font, size, color, background, shadow and outline. When it looks right, press Download image.
Is the image text editor free?
Yes. It is free and needs no account. A free RobinReach account raises the daily download limit.
Is there a limit?
Only downloads count: 10 a day without an account and 25 with a free account. Uploading, typing and styling use nothing, but once the day's downloads are used the editor waits until the count resets at midnight.
Which image types can I use?
PNG, JPG, GIF and WebP images up to 10 MB. The result downloads as a PNG, so a GIF is saved as a still image.
Can I change the font, size and color?
Yes. There are 12 fonts, including Arial, Georgia, Impact, Courier New and Playfair Display. Which ones show depends on the fonts installed on your device. You can also set the size from 12 to 200, the text color, a background color, bold, italic, underline, a shadow and an outline.
What quality is the download?
A PNG drawn at 3 times the size of the preview, so the text stays sharp. The editor does not add a watermark.
What happens to my image?
The editing happens in your browser. Your image and text are sent to our server only to check them (the file type and size, and the text settings), and nothing is saved.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. It works in the browser on iPhone, Android and tablets, with no app to install. Touch and drag to move the text.
