Automation in RobinReach

Set it up once. It keeps working while you don't.

Comments become DMs, new products and articles become ready posts, and a spreadsheet becomes a month on the calendar. Eight automations, all on the same calendar as everything else.

Animated example: four automations run one after another. A new Shopify product becomes a draft post, a new blog article becomes scheduled posts, an Instagram comment with a trigger word gets a direct message, and a CSV file fills a month of the calendar.

The best automations are the ones you forget about. Until you see what they did while you were away.

How it works

From a source to a running automation

Every automation follows the same four steps, and the last one runs by itself.

  1. Connect a source

Your store URL, a blog's RSS feed, a Facebook Page or Instagram account, or a CSV file.

  2. Choose what happens

Pick the profiles, the hashtags, the days and times, and whether new posts wait as drafts or schedule themselves.

  3. Review if you want to

Drafts wait on the calendar until you have had a look, then go out at their time.

  4. Watch it run

Automations keep working in the background, and their posts show up in your reports like any other.

Features

Eight automations, one calendar

Each one has a single job, and they all publish through the same composer rules.

Comment to DM

Everyone who comments a trigger word gets your direct message, with an optional public reply, on Sprout, Bloom, Thrive and Scale.

A month from one CSV

Upload a spreadsheet with the text, media and times, and every row lands on the calendar.

Stores and blog

New products from Shopify, Etsy or WooCommerce, and new WordPress articles, become posts ready to go.

RSS that respects your schedule

Pick how often to check, how many posts per update, and the days and times they should go out.

Shorter links, tracked clicks

Connect Bitly or Switchy and long links in your posts are shortened automatically.

Repurposing

New TikToks, Reels and videos on one network become posts on the others, on Sprout, Bloom, Thrive and Scale.

Automations by chat

Claude or ChatGPT can create RSS feeds, repurposing rules and Comment to DM automations for you through RobinReach's MCP tools.

Why RobinReach

Doing it by hand doesn't scale past one brand

Every product launch, blog post and comment is a small job. Together they are the whole week.

By hand

Copy, paste, repeat

  • Each new product is written up again for every network.
  • Blog posts are shared late, or not at all.
  • Comments asking for the link wait hours for a reply.
  • A month of posts is entered one by one.
With RobinReach

Automations

  • New products arrive as draft posts with the photo and link.
  • New articles are posted on your days and times.
  • Trigger words get a DM in seconds.
  • A CSV file fills the month in one upload.

FAQ

Automation questions, answered

Which automations does RobinReach have?

Comment to DM, CSV bulk upload, RSS feeds, Shopify, Etsy and WooCommerce stores, WordPress blog sharing, and link shortening with Bitly or Switchy. Repurposing and recurring posts add two more ways to keep content flowing.

Which plans include automations?

Comment to DM is on Sprout, Bloom, Thrive and Scale, RSS feeds on Sprout, Bloom, Thrive and Scale, and CSV upload, stores and blog sharing on Bloom, Thrive and Scale. Link shortening works on every plan.

Do automated posts publish straight away?

It's your choice. New products arrive as drafts for you to review, and RSS feeds can publish immediately, wait as drafts or go into your preferred days and times.

How does Comment to DM work?

Pick a Facebook Page or Instagram account, add trigger words and write the message. When someone comments a trigger word, RobinReach sends them the DM and can reply publicly too. See Auto DM.

How often are RSS feeds checked?

Every 3 to 12 hours, as you choose, with a limit on posts per update so a busy feed never floods your profiles. See RSS to social.

Can my AI assistant set up automations?

Yes. Through RobinReach's MCP server, Claude, ChatGPT and other assistants can create and pause RSS feeds, repurposing rules and Comment to DM automations.
