# Add RobinReach to Claude: Custom Connector Setup (2026) > To connect Claude to your social media, add RobinReach as a custom connector. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, click + Add and choose Add custom connector. Name it RobinReach, paste https://robinreach.com/mcp/v1/messages and click Add, then click Connect and sign in to RobinReach. Claude can then plan, write, schedule and publish posts on 13 networks, answer comments and read your analytics, in the web, desktop and mobile apps. Free Claude accounts can add one custom connector. On the RobinReach side it is included on the Bloom, Thrive and Scale plans. RobinReach plan: Bloom, Thrive and Scale. ## What you need In Claude: - A Claude account on the web, the desktop app or the mobile app. Free accounts can add one custom connector; Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise can add more. - On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds the connector for the whole organization first, then each person connects their own RobinReach login. - Connectors you add on the web also work in the Claude desktop and mobile apps. In RobinReach: - The Bloom, Thrive and Scale plan (Bloom, $24 a month). - To sign in: the account owner, an account admin or a brand admin. Anyone else can use an API key. ## Setup ### 1. Copy the RobinReach URL The same address works for every account. Your login, not the URL, decides which brands Claude can reach. ``` https://robinreach.com/mcp/v1/messages ``` ### 2. Add a custom connector In Claude, open **Customize**, then **Connectors**, click **+ Add** and choose **Add custom connector**. Name it **RobinReach**, paste the URL and click **Add**. On some accounts the menu is called Settings, then Connectors. ### 3. Click Connect and sign in A RobinReach window opens. Sign in, keep your account selected to connect every brand or pick a single brand, and click **Connect**. No API key needed. Connecting needs the account owner, an account admin or a brand admin. ### 4. Add the RobinReach skill (optional) The skill teaches Claude how RobinReach works, so it writes in your brand voice, picks sensible posting times and follows each network's rules. Say hello Start a new chat and ask Claude to list your RobinReach brands. It answers with your brands and the profiles connected to each. Check it works: Start a new chat and ask: "List my RobinReach brands". ### Prefer an API key? If you are not an admin, paste this URL in step 2 instead, with the key from the Integrations page in RobinReach, and skip signing in. Show me the replies first. - When someone comments RECIPE on our Instagram posts, send them the link to the recipe page. ## Troubleshooting **I cannot find Add custom connector.** On Team and Enterprise only owners add custom connectors, from Organization settings, then Connectors. Ask an owner to add RobinReach there, then open Customize, then Connectors, find RobinReach and click Connect. **Claude says I already have a custom connector.** Free Claude accounts can have one custom connector. Remove the one you no longer use, or move to a paid Claude plan. **The sign in window shows no brands, or I cannot click Connect.** Signing in needs the account owner, an account admin or a brand admin. Ask one of them to connect, or use the API key URL instead. **Claude answers without using RobinReach.** Check the connector is turned on for the chat in the tools menu, start a new chat and mention RobinReach in your request. **Claude asks before every step.** Claude asks for approval before it runs a connector's tools. Choose Allow always only for tools you trust to run on their own, like reading your calendar, and keep the prompt for anything that publishes. **Should I use RobinReach in Research mode?.** Research can call connector tools without asking again. No. Free Claude accounts can add one custom connector, which is enough for RobinReach. Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise can add more. On RobinReach you need the Bloom, Thrive and Scale plan. ### Does it work in Claude Desktop and on my phone? Yes. Add the connector once in Claude on the web and it is there in the desktop app and the mobile apps too, as long as it is turned on. ### Do I need an API key? No. You paste the URL, click Connect and sign in to RobinReach. The API key route is there for people who are not admins of the account. ### Can Claude post without asking me first? Claude asks before it runs a connector's tools unless you allow them, and RobinReach marks publishing right away, deleting and client links so Claude asks you first. You can also ask for drafts and approve them in the RobinReach calendar. ### Can I connect only one brand to Claude? Yes. When you sign in, pick the brand under "Or connect a single brand". Claude then only sees that brand. ### What is the RobinReach skill for? It is a short guide Claude reads before it works in RobinReach, with your platform rules and good habits, like checking a post before scheduling it.
