# Connect Claude Code to RobinReach: One Command MCP Setup > To connect Claude Code to RobinReach, run claude mcp add --transport http robinreach --scope user https://robinreach.com/mcp/v1/messages in your terminal. Then start Claude Code, run /mcp, pick robinreach and sign in to RobinReach in your browser. Claude Code can then schedule and publish posts on 13 networks, upload images and videos straight from your computer, read your analytics and answer comments, all from the terminal. It is included on the Bloom, Thrive and Scale plans. RobinReach plan: Bloom, Thrive and Scale. ## What you need In Claude Code: - Claude Code installed, with a Claude subscription or an Anthropic API account. - A browser on the same computer to sign in. On a server without one, use the API key command below. In RobinReach: - The Bloom, Thrive and Scale plan (Bloom, $24 a month). - To sign in: the account owner, an account admin or a brand admin. Anyone else can use an API key. ## Setup ### 1. Run this command in your terminal **--scope user** makes RobinReach available in every folder. Leave it out and Claude Code only loads it in the folder you ran it from. ``` claude mcp add --transport http robinreach --scope user https://robinreach.com/mcp/v1/messages ``` ### 2. Sign in to RobinReach Start Claude Code, run **/mcp**, pick **robinreach** and follow the sign in in your browser. Choose your account or a single brand and click **Connect**. Connecting needs the account owner, an account admin or a brand admin. ### 3. Install the RobinReach skill (optional) The skill teaches Claude how RobinReach works, so it writes in your brand voice and follows each network's rules. Say hello Run claude and ask it to list your RobinReach brands. Check it works: Run claude and ask: "List my RobinReach brands". ### No browser, or not an admin? Use this command instead and skip signing in, with the key from the Integrations page in RobinReach. The key sits in your Claude Code settings, so keep it private. ``` claude mcp add --transport http robinreach --scope user https://robinreach.com/mcp/v1/messages --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" ``` ## Things to ask Claude Code - Post ./launch/hero.png to X and LinkedIn tomorrow at 9 with a short launch note. - Read CHANGELOG.md and turn this week's release into a post for LinkedIn, X and Threads. - Upload every video in ./reels and schedule one Instagram Reel a day from Monday. - Write a weekly social report from my analytics and save it as report.md. - Check whether any posts failed this week and tell me how to fix them. ## Troubleshooting **RobinReach only shows up in one folder.** It was added with the default local scope. Remove it with claude mcp remove robinreach and add it again with --scope user. **The server says it needs authentication.** Run /mcp, pick robinreach and sign in again. Use Clear authentication there to switch to a different account or brand. **I am on a server or in a container.** The sign in needs a browser. No. Claude Code is Anthropic's assistant for the terminal and code editors, with its own list of MCP servers. Adding RobinReach to Claude on the web does not add it to Claude Code, so you run the command once here. ### Can Claude Code post files from my computer? Yes. It uploads screenshots, images and videos from your folders to your RobinReach library through a secure upload link, then attaches them to the post. No public link needed. ### Do I need an API key? No. You sign in through /mcp. The API key command is for machines without a browser and for people who are not admins. ### Can I share the setup with my team? Add it with --scope project instead of --scope user and Claude Code saves it in the project's .mcp.json, so teammates get it when they open the project. Each person still signs in with their own RobinReach login. ### Which plans include it? On RobinReach, the Bloom, Thrive and Scale plans.
